Anger Management for Court Mandated/Groups & Individual Sessions
The experience of anger is a natural emotion than can be a positive force if managed effectively. Mismanagement of anger and failure to recognize anger “triggers” can be extremely uncomfortable and emotionally draining. It is the process of managing one’s anger that is the primary goal.
The goal in treating anger is directed toward personal growth and healing relationships by increasing emotional intelligence. Learning how to cope with your anger and understanding; Self-Awareness (capacity for understanding one’s emotions), Self-Management (capacity for effectively managing one’s motives and regulating behavior), Self-Motivation (emotions are monitored and controlled in order to achieve goals), Social-Awareness (capacity for understanding what others are saying and feeling and why they feel and act as they do), and Relationship Management (capacity for acting in such a way that one is able to get desired results from others and reach personal goals) will allow you to move forward in a positive direction.
Kimberly Groll, MS, LPC, CADC, CAMT is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified as a Drug and Alcohol/Addictions Counselor, DUI provider, and Certified as an Anger Management Trainer at Care Clinics who offers anger management for court mandated issues, groups, and individual sessions. Her focus is on the experience of the anger which varies from irritability to intense rage. We help individuals get in touch with their anger by teaching effective ways to communicate along with increasing their awareness into emotional intelligence. Participants in our groups experience safe, caring support surrounded by a trusting environment while “Finding Solutions Together.”
